This coming week (week 4)… just as in session 1 there will be live Kahoots as opposed to bonus tasks that you do on your own. They will be Wednesday Aug. 6 at 7pm and Wednesday August 7th at 9:30pm. Also Thursday Aug. 8 at 8pm (These are Eastern Standard times) You choose just one of them. If for some reason, neither of those times work with your schedule, please contact Mr. T by email tarnowskip746@gmail.com or by text 513 503 3930. If we have enough people that need another time, we can work on one. As we did in session one, be careful to make note of your score at the end of the game and bonus boxes will be created for certain score ranges.
THE KAHOOT SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 25 MINUTES
A few notes about the Kahoots
- When you are doing the Kahoots, you will be able to see the questions.
- Check this website a few minutes before the Kahoot that you intend to play. We will post the game code about 10 minutes before the scheduled kahoot time.
- Try to be on time. We will likely start 2 or 3 minutes after the scheduled time (just in case anyone is having login problems). You can call Mr. T if you are having login problems right before the Kahoot.
- When you are playing the game you get messages that say something like “you are in 6th place, 725 points behind PiGuy.” But what you don’t see is how many people are actually in the game, so you don’t know if you’re doing great … like 6th out of 30 … or maybe not so great like 6th out of 7. When all of the Kahoots are done we will post data such as; total participants, average score, highest few scores, etc. So you have a better idea of how you did.
- Make sure to write down your score. Toward the end of the week a post will be sent out describing how many bonus points should be taken based on Kahoot score.
- People who were signed up for session 1 but not session 2…. these posts are still visible to you. You are welcome to play. Of course, you are on the leaderboard for session 2 but you are still welcome to play the week 4 Kahoot and see how you do.
